Looking like I might be able to keep the ol demon! Anyways figured I’d keep plugging along on it either way. Lots more body work done, frame connectors installed, floor painted with Por-15.

Fellas, as life does it happens. It is looking like I may have to get rid of the car few questions for the experts: what would a fair price be as she sits? Would it be worth finishing bodywork and getting it primed before listing it? I don’t wanna sell her. I’ve had it since I was 16 but like I...

    71 Demon Build

Spent the morning getting the fuel lines and brake lines removed. Then started scraping off all the old undercoating. Got most of it off. Plan is to clean the underside good and POR-15 it. Thoughts on this? Is there a better product?

Got her up in my homemade rotisserie, time to get rid of the rot and rust on the bottom side. Gonna install frame connectors while it’s easy to get to, also working on applying body filler to panels I’ve replaced. Slow progress but still inching forward!

Fellas, I picked up this demon back in 2013. I was 16 and it was my first car. It took many hours working on the family farm in order to finally have the cash to get it. I drove it home grinning ear to ear. Fast forward a few years and my little brother wrecks his first car. A Chrysler 300. And...

Fellas, Bad News. Went for the first test ride. Went smooth...for 15 miles. Rear seal of the tranny went out. Tranny ran dry and ka-boom. Bad day #1. Took to a shop had it fixed professionally. Went to get it and started it up to find a wild knock in the engine. Trailered to the next shop...

So basically a ton of work and not a lot to show for it. I was able to get everything shot in primer and replaced the leaf spring bushings. Should have had the custom exhaust run but the manifolds I ordered didn't fit. Lost time with that. Shoulda been able to start painting or at least thinking...

I guess I never thought about using a different steering shaft. I just made due with what I had. As far as a tilt column I fought myself long and hard on that. What it came down to was where I want to go with the pickup. I want it to feel like an old pickup. With that in mind I thought it would...
