Use a bolt and nut to connect them together then lots if tape to insulate connection. Battery should also be disconnected while doing this work.

Have to put the red and black wires together from the amp gauge to restore power without the factory dash in place. Make sure you insulate connection with electrical tape. You could have a short if not insulated and it touchs metal under the dash.

X2 360 stroker 408ci and I think you'll be more than happy with the power. Probably have clutch and rear end problems then. I've seen a couple big block early cars but that job is not for the faint of heart. Lot of problems and issues go with it for likely minimal reward over a nice stroked...

Those look like some nice upgrades. On the gear vendor I had to modify and lower my trans mount about 3/4" to get the gear vendor to fit in the tunnel. Kind of looks like you may have same problem.
