It should probably be pointed out that the 8HP wasn’t available in the Challenger with a V8 until 2015. Much better trans than the 5A from previous generations. Not saying the 2014 and older auto cars weren’t fun, but the 8A was a pretty good leap forward.

That trucker would have hit somebody doing 5mph less than him. The speed of the tractor had ZERO to do with the collision.

I couldn't get them to pass this for street use. Bought it with a salvaged title, went to register and was told it had to go to WSP for inspection. I was already cutting it up at that point so I waited until it was finished and they told me no. lol

You will only have one forward gear. 3 in reverse. Would be awesome in a demolition derby car and some 5 series gears!!!

Yeah, they don't mess around with chit like that. I made the same mistake on a Jeep I built to race off road. Wanted to have it registered to drive on the street and by the time I was finished, they wouldn't let me. lol

That would be the 3.4 DOHC in the Chevy Lumina. BTDT & they were horrible to do just about anything on. I've been a GM dealer tech since '92

The middle of the road 6.4/392 is a great package. We own a standard 2015 5.7 R/T and while it is a great car, the added power and brakes of the 392 cars would have been a better choice.

I got poo pooed for buying these parts as a builder. Sold the parts recently to a guy that is putting the parts together. One of the few times I've actually made money on a car. The black car will be more interesting to build in my opinion. Nice pile of parts you have. I often wonder...

From what prices I just seen looks like a $700 price difference, so I guess what you value more, the SM were cheaper per peak hp don't know about average. Wonder how well just the regular SM would do especially with a mild home port job ?

Sorry for the confusion.. these are 5 on 4" small bolt pattern but the caps (which I don't have) thread on to the face of the rim using five tabs that are on a 3.5" Bolt circle
