Let's not forget.

You absolutely need 15” rims to run the 11 3/4” rotors, minimum. I seem to recall there are some reproduction 15” wheels out there that have issues with caliper clearance too.

How much height do you need to gain to run the Weiand 8022? Can you machine the carb base pad and/or adapter to get the height you need and is it allowed in the rules?

On my 74 duster I unbolted the bumper shocks removed the brace in the bumper and bent up new brackets using 1/8 in steel. Bolted it back on using existing bolt holes. Saved about 80-100 lbs. If I remember right that was about 45 years ago

not sure how this would look BUT... if you contacted one of the decal makers who make the 340 numbers they might be able to make numbers that are 1/16" larger all the way around and after smoothing the area you apply them over the area to hide the change in color. If the official decal makers...
