A really nice piece!!

This is a "Free" Couple Black Seat Belts "Free". I found these in one of my parts drawers. Not sure exactly what they are for, but if anyone has a use for them, they are free. Just pay the shipping cost.

if you use compressed air be sure to regulate the pressure! leaf blower seems the better bet for air. I use an old soft clean bath towel.

Rear end alone can cost quite a bit, probably will have a 7 1/4, so depends how you go about it, can end up upgrading everything in the back. $$$$, plus it's a fairly big job for some. Plus in the end of the day most will be lucky if they go as a deep as 3.55 gear set.

Are you looking for a set to get rewebbed? Just how much do you think a set of 54 year old belts are going to hold you in a wreck? Ask a serious drag racer how often they are required to replace their belts. At least get the front ones redone.

The good thing about a stock 318 it's such a turd in power it's easy to gain 20-30%+ over stock your gonna feel it no matter the gears.

Remember that a 4bbl and intake can be done for 2-3 bucks total, whereas gears and high stall converter is a 1200+ dollar upgrade

4.30's and 3500 converter, okay. sure. i guess if you never want to leave town that's a great combo. sounds like a whole bunch of fun poking along in the slow lane tached out while getting passed by tractor trailers.
