    Lunati cams being phased out?

when edelbrock bought up lunati (who was already owned by comp) they basically nixed a whole segment of the catalog. my *guess* is that they are just blowing out what stock might remain while only producing chevy and ford stuff because the market isn't there for mopar. summit doesn't even list...

    My 1969 1/2 440 ‘cuda

Yes, they did a superb job on getting the gaps lined up nicely. Although the hood still had a good size gap they tweaked the header panel and got it lined up really well.

    Milling an intake manifold.

I was just wondering it you could use a set of .015 steel shim gaskets to get you through the year. That would have to get you pretty close.

    preserving new vehicle?

Learned the trick from my dad, he had a 66 plymouth fury he bought new, it hauled all us kids home from the hospital, it was his daily drive for 25 years, until mom made him get rid of it because it was too ugly. I even drove it some in high school. It was not very rusty, but the roof where my...

Electric Power Steering conversion kit question

The crowned road issue is 100% the alignment, not the epas. Ever confirmed the alignment specs? Also, fyi, ‘23 rangers have been recalled for having improper load rated tires and improperly tightened lug nuts. My wife had a ‘13 Mustang for awhile with an EPS rack, it had multiple adjustments...

Electric Power Steering conversion kit question

We have a 23 ranger for a delivery truck and it has eps. It is a nightmare sometimes as it will steer where it wants due to the steering sensor. If you get on a crowned road, it goes where it wants to go. God forbid, if you try to keep it straight with your knee, like you can with reg steering...

    preserving new vehicle?

when visiting friends in Wisconsin ages ago, I saw a big bumper 4 door Nova on jackstands. it was the guys winter vehicle, dents but no visible rust. all summer long, whenever he changed oil, he would dump the old oil in the doors and trunk turn downs. good thing he had a gravel driveway and the...

    360 Questions.. pardon my ignorance.

Fifty degrees should be as good as impossible. Something is not right. The absolute MOST, your Vcan would be able to bring is 24*, with most of the stops filed off. Thus, at idle, with full-manifold vacuum, and with 5* initial, the absolute most you could get would be 29*. Typically the VA will...
