I have a mechanical fuel pump shown below. There is a threaded outlet. I don't know the thread size. I tried 1/8" NPT a 1/4" NPT and it is not either of those. Anybody know the correct size?

I have a 742 8 ¾”. It is leaking out of the front of the center section where it bolts to the drive shaft. I would assume that it is the Pinion seal. How is this replaced? Are there any special tools required? Thanks, for the help in advance.
