Mechanical fuel pump threaded fitting size

I have a mechanical fuel pump shown below. There is a threaded outlet. I don't know the thread size. I tried 1/8" NPT a 1/4" NPT and it is not either of those. Anybody know the correct size?

IIRC it is tube size threads - not NPT. Am unsure of that size.

Depends on the pump. If as shown it is LIKELY 5/16 "inverted flare." A GOOD parts store should have tube, flare nuts, and adapters from there to hose. Inverted flare is same as your brake tubes, depending on size

On stock engines there was metal tubing that ran from there up to the carb or fuel filter. As previously stated, you need a tube fitting & metal tubing. Or an adapter to go from the tube fitting to a rubber hose barb.

Bet this would get it if you wanted to just go with rubber fuel line.

Otherwise a stock fuel line fuel pump to carb would do it as that fuel pump is a stock type replacement

Actally, at the price of locally priced fittings, that is not a bad price
