While replacing the trans pan gasket I noticed the the end of the trans dip stick is just sticking out of the end of the tube into the transmission..like maybe a 1/4 inch.....is this normal?

if I have two tapered axels no green bearings or adjuster... and iam using a spool why couldn't I just cut and old axel to make up the difference and put between the other axles and run it...

while taking apart the sb tci 727 I noticed that the front servo had a much larger rod coming out, to push against the band lever. than my stock bb one... after taking it apart I noticed that the bore in the sb case is much larger dia.. is this a mod that was done at tci, or?

I have a SB 727 with a long tail shaft, and a bb rv 727 with a short tail shaft..i swapped tail shafts no issues...everything turns free..but when I install the pump..it doesn't turn free...i used the short tail shaft fiber spacer...the long tail shaft has a thin metal one..could that be the issue..

I have a 8.75 10''x1.75 rear was told I needed to but green bearings, witch I have done in the past, on other axles... my question is after looking at this rear I see no adjuster for tapered bearings..does this need need green bearings. the pics of both sides..i have not seen tapered bearings...
