Hi all, Do I have to replace the intake manifold gasket if I take the manifold off the top of the motor? Also, what are the Ft-Lbs to torque the bolts back onto the manifold? I notice oil sometimes runs up and leaks through some of the bolts also. Manifold is a Performer RPM on a 318 motor.

So I am looking to get a new air cleaner and base for my edelbrock 1406 4-barrel carb, yet the base I currently have, has a 6 inch opening (fits perfectly). Why do they say 5 1/8 base on all these websites, yet I actually measure 6 inches wide where the carb gasket to air cleaner base goes...

Im looking for the most recommended oil filter relocation kit. Lots are around 40-65, yet I think stainless braided lines would best, rather than the rubber supplied in the aforementioned kits. Oh, I ask because I have a 90 degree adapter, but heard that unit restricts flow pretty badly
