Where do you folks attach your line lock button?

I have a 1971 B body bucket seat? pistol grip shifter. It's the real short one. I was thinking of velcroing the line lock button toward the bottom of the shifter arm for racing (running the wire under the carpet and thru the shifter boot). Advise needed on linelock/4 speed drag racing

Can you use the linelock to take the slack out of the drivetrain on the line? Thinking to reduce the shock on takeoff. Does that make sense? I guess mounting it to the steering wheel temporarily would be best as I would only use it at the track. thoughts? thx, kevin

    Advice on rear axles

Do they make small bolt pattern high strength rear axles? Also do you think good 7/16 wheel studs ie: moroso etc. will hold up to soft compound tires? Why Chrysler blessed us with 5x4 bolt patterns I'll never know. Thanks Kevin

How do you do burnouts with a stick?

I hopefully will be getting some E.T. street radials soon and don't have a linelock yet. How do you get a burnout done safely without the line lock? What gear to start in with a 4speed? Thanks for the help. Kevin
