So after head gasket. Ive got the head back. Setting the valves, I do not own a size big enough for crank bolt. Starter still hooked up. Is it ok to bump it around with the starter? Will that be hard on the cam? I believe I have the adjusters close just need to go back and set them right.

Should I replace one or both? I believe the drive side is blown. Pulled the front driver plug and water poured out. Funny as I had just pulled the plugs to check them and clean and nothing then and i havent even driven or gotten it to start since then.

I need to plugs for my 440.. One is on the water pump where i removed the heater hoses. The other is on the back of the engine there are 2 holes back there for oil sender. Anyone know what sizes these holes are? Ive been searching but not finding anything definate.

After working with my Pro-Parts headers i decided that header studs might be best in my case. Installing them I know i need a bead of sealer anything else i need to put on them?

Ok need some help! I have what I believe to be a DC BB K frame with spool mount. They motor mounts are pulled of a 440 I was told was pulled from a C body. The Driver side mount hits the mounting area for the steering box.

I have some C body spool mounts that may need the rubbers changed im guessing these are a press out and press back in kinda deal? Also they didnt come with hardware will Grade 8 be ok?

Ok been watching some videos on how to degree a camshaft. Says timing figures taken at .050. If im understanding this right after i find true TDC, when the #1 intake is open to .050 my degree wheel should be at 15.5 degrees BTDC is this correct?

Putting a 440 together. I have a windage tray id like to use. What ARP bolts work with that. All ive seen is the ARP 140-5001 but seen they dont work with windage tray. I dont want to go to studs. Should i just go with out the windage tray?
