Well although the car is leaving really hard and since I fixed the problem of it sucking fuel from the carb vents it still only seems to have picked up about 1/10. It is hesitating on take off so I think there is a little more in there to be tuned but since the weather is so different it's hard...

It left with the front wheels about 3 feet off the ground and carried it out a ways after that things went south though. The engine was missing like it was either lean or way rich. I'm not sure if the scoop and no air cleaner is causing it to syphon gas out the carb vents or if it's just that...

I've had this scoop for awhile not sure if I was ever going to use it. So tell me how you like this.

What are your thoughts and or have you tried the two different styles? I'm wanting to put a spacer under my carb so I'm going to have to have some type of scoop as I only have 1/4" of hood clearance now. So I was wondering if anyone had the scoop (sorry) on the pros and cons.
