02 ram rear end, what will interchange

Hi all just got a call, a friend blew his rear last week. Called a few Jys and cant find a truck rear.
Its a 1500 2 wd ram.. will a rear from a dodge van work?

thanks, oh i thinks its the 9 1/4 but im not positive..I havent seen it yet..

To verify it's a 9-1/4 just look at the rear cover. It should be shaped like a stop sign. Octagonal. I assume you tried the 2 junkyards on 140 in Cottage hills? Might also try Mullins Salvage in Mt.Olive. ph. is 217-999-2030. I doubt a van rear will work. Width is probably different.
