1.7 rockers?

Fnally got the 451 rolling right this fine spring we've been having lately. I was thinking it might be time for a cheap upgrade. so has anyone ever used 1.7 rockers? any limitations to using a really high ratio? and has anyone ever used these before (Link below)? or does anyone know of any other 1.7's? Thanks in advance. also would I have to adjust the cam timing with 1.7 or even 1.6?

ps- I have 509 purple cam, the lift would become 577 (with 1.7) I believe.

Hughes makes some very nice 1.7 rockers. Here's some we've used...

T&D makes a rocker setup that you can go up to 1.85 rocker ratio.
