Well Victoria and I spent some time at the race track today.
It has been along time for me to see allot of old friends.
They enjoyed looking at Victoria.
Here are some pictures of the little drag strip we call George Rays.
The oldest heads up wild cat racing in the usa.
I sat and talked to George and he was glad to see me again and asked about the boys, The 36 year old standing next to Goerge and I is an old friend of mine his younger brother with Down sindrum. He ejoys the fast cars.

WOW. Thanks for the pics & info Mike. Saw a clip about this track on one of the speed channel shows last year. Boy talk about no room for error on this track. Love it.

As you can see this is a small and fun track to have fun and watch or race for 7 dolors {enter at your own risk.}.
If I did not have such a good time on the fourth I could have stayed.:happy10:
Mempis motor speed park is about 70 mile's away and this track is 20 miles.
I did find me a shade to set under, and talked to some old friends.
Victoria got some looks and she enjoyed the drive.

It is a fun track and a good place to test and tune.
George has dun a good job keeping allot of kids off the streets and
enjoy a nice 1/8 mile run. All you have to do is line up for time trials and stage !! me 00 deep stage when I did race, Victoria and I just sat back and watched :love7:

Good time for the kids there! Mike, I thought you were getting ready to tell us all of the 15sec. pass you `d made with Victoria. Lol! It`s a great place to show off the car though. Are you getting some crazy ideas, I saw where you parked it next to the tubbed one? Lol!!

Naaaw! I will wait for the 81/4 rear end and disk brakes and a good exhaust with a 390 Holley on top of my Offy and drive it to Mempis and get me a good reaction time and get me a mid 13 sec time slip on a 1/4 mile track and drive her to show's, And to the dog food store, My truck has not moved since Victoria moved in,:love7: The folks I parked by waved me in and when Jerry {the owner of the orange arrow}walked out to the car he said Quote= I should have new that was you, How the hell have you been doing!!!. It has been a long time, hell he did not know what happened to me.
Yea that 65 made a 7.17 trial run
and you should see her grip and go.
I have not seen most of these old guys in 5 to 7 years and I am not the only one that lost his hair.:happy10:

Nice pics Mike. Thanks for posting. I dig the "flaming skull" piant job on the dragster. I too heard about this strip on IIRC, on the "Horsepower" show. Like Oldschool said, no room for error. Looks like fun!

I think it`s great that Victoria is making the rounds to all of the shows.

Mike I saw you are looking for a 81/4 I will have a good one for sale pretty soon auburn L/S 3.91s and a adjustable pinion snubber brakes were just done new brake cables works like it should. Believe it or not someone pretty much gave me a 83/4 for my dart and I am wanting to go 4.56 or 4.88 and am trying to round up parts now.Kevin down in Ozark Ar.

Thanks Longgone.
This time next year it will be in its original color looking good like your barracuda.
There is very little to get her in show room shape.
She will look allot better in the number matching color you see in the trunk.

Thanks Kevin, I will keep that in mind.
good luck on finding parts you need, I have a 81/4 all ready.
I will be doing some up grades on the /6 then disc brakes and then go to the paint and rear end. That is the plan anyway. 8)

Yeah I`ve got to say, I like the gold alright. I may be a little bit partial though. Lol! The copper is nice though, I think that was a good alternate color to paint it. Is the top the original color or was it a solid gold like the body?

My fender tag under paint reads WY2 Y so I think
the white top was factory :dontknow:

I will paint it gold and loose the granny white top.

Yep I am partial to your gold too.
I thought and voted on yours to win last years best:rock:
