Drove my 84 Slant D100 (225 1bbl) for a few hours, and the Carb started leaking. I didn't have too much time, so I looked under hood real quick. I noticed gas all over the Intake dripping down from the Carb, but I couldn't tell if it was coming from the Carb Housing or Base gasket. Didn't see anything on the line itself. What's the most common leak point on the 1945? Thanks for any info.

The top housing screws are notorious for working loose as the gasket shrinks over time. Try tightening them.
Does the 1945 have the plastic float cover like the 1920? These will warp if overtightened, and they can crack as well.
I haven't touched anything on it yet. Can't get to it right now, but I am trying to get ideas on typical problems. I have been driving it, but I took a long trip and it started to sputter a little. Popped the hood and noticed the fuel leaking. Could not determine exactly where it was coming from. I know it's common for the Carb to loosen around the Base Gasket, but I don't think it would leak the amount of fuel I saw. Not sure?

Very dangerous. Many engine fires due to leaking or overflowing carburetors. When high-pressure fuel injection came out, I predicted major future problems with engine fires. We did see some early on, but turned out of little concern. I attribute that to better Viton O-rings and lined fuel hose (Viton liner?). That rubber appears to resist fuel, even E85 for many decades.
My 1969 Slant with Holley 1920 began leaking gas thru a cracked accel pump diaphragm. The side bowl cover also seemed a poor design. I think Ford and/or Chevy also used the 1920. Be glad you have the Holley 1945.
