well, i'm finally done with the engine bay paint and new engine install. runs great. now to the next project, the front end. now comes my question. my car is a 72 dart with the 6 so it has 9" brakes. i have another 72 parts dart that has 10" drum brakes. does the 10" have the large ball joint that will fit the 73 up disk spindle, or do still need the newer uca? i would just swap the 10s on mine, but some jackwagon welded the wheel studs in and two are stripped out. thanks, dave.

The upper arms you have will both be the small ball joint.

The 72 stuff should fit your current arms without issue. They used the same upper ball joint for those years regardless of brake configuration.

You will need to change the upper arms for 73 up conversion but to change just to the 72 10 inch drum brakes they use the same ball joints.

thanks for the replys. i wanted to put off the disk brake conversion for awhile because of funds. they welded the 9s and went to check out the 10s and all the studs are loose, so i quess someone pressed out the studs without cutting the swage first. cant buy em new, and dart parts down here in ms. are all but none existant. i wonder if B body hubs would fit the 10" spindles?
