my 74 valiant, known as the beast, has a front wheel bearing melt down took out the spindle, i really thought I could fix it on friday when I got paid)
k I got that. but I need a brake Drum for a early 70's mopar
does any body have one laying around they want to get rid of cause no place I have found actually has any

Be specific about what drum you need. Front? Rear? Big bolt pattern or small? What is the width? I've got a good stock of drums. PM me with that info and I'll try to hook you up.

got an order in with JC Whitney right now
but if that falls through will be calling you

close thread, idiot thought the hub was attached to the drum?
anybody got a front hub for a 74 valiant?

Got these loose in a local yard clean out. Don't know what they came off of, but have been informed that mopar did continue to put sbp front drums on base cars through 1976. Had thought they were 71-72 Duster. I had assumed that like general motors, that all cars became disc post 72/73/74.

good information.
that shows that the hub may be "peened" to the drum, i know some
nine inch drums on a 69 dart i have parted are visibly "peened" to the their hubs.

They were swedged from MaMopar on the 72 back A-bodies but 73 up I don't know about.

This is the tool to cut them apart so you can replace the drums. Many others use a dremel to do it because the tools is $90.00 plus shipping.
