Are the old 11x2.5" rear brakes hard to come by? are new drums available? I heard they were not.....and people who list them actually don't stock them. any truth?

The backing plates are hard to find and most want a decent penny for em.
thanks for the info!
The 11x2 I have only seen on C bodies and the 11x3 is an RT option. I have a few sets of the e brake and anti rattle levers for 11" if you need em.
11x3 are front brakes, 11x2.5 are rear.
I have seen some RT's with 3" in the rear. It was a B & E body RT only option from what I know
They really aren't. I have several sets myself. Some from the local yards, where they're plenty cheap.
Even on Ebay they aren't horrible. $102 for a loaded set of brakes. I've bought from this seller before too, good guy. And if you miss this auction, he lists them pretty frequently. I bought one of my sets there before I found some in the yards.

$102 is an very good price. Good info
I'm using the 11x2-1/2" rears and 11"+ discs from a 74 SSP on my 72 Demon. A little extra Whoa isnt a bad thing. Parts for them were available just about anywhere.
