Anyone know if I can use 14 x 8 (small bolt) rims w/4 in backspace on my stock 65? Thanks, I appreciate the help.

No those won't work.
I have 17 X 9's on my 65 and they have a 5.95 back space. These are very close to the inner and outer wheel well, I had 265's on them but then went to a 275 40r 17's and they do clear but very close with the rear perfectly centered in the car. with a 8 inch rim you would need a 5.2" back space. This is a rough calcualtion. I would also like to add that my wheel well is stock but my springs are moved inward.
Try differnet rim combo's on this site to get a better idea: http://www.rims-n-tires.com/rt_specs.jsp

I should of added that I'm running a stock width 8 3/4 with wilwood disc brakes with yukon 4.5 bp axles.

i use to drive my 65 b´cuda with 7/15 with 235/60 on it. and it fits very tight... i have to use highjackers to avoid rubbing if there is more then me and my wife in the car (i think it depends on my weak rearsprings)

Thanks guys, your advice will be helpful. Last wk I saw supercool turbine wheels 14x8 sbp on ebay, rare find that mysteriously disappeared from bidding before the auction was to end. Ticked me off, but anyway they wouldn't have fit.

I am using 14x5.5 wheels from a 1970 era Dart,
and 205/70/r14 tires all 4 wheels.

The hubcaps are from a 1970 Cuda Coupe.

Lots more tread on the ground than the
stock{ for V8} 7.00x13's
