17 inch rims

Okay, I've got a set of 4 brand new Cooper Zeon zpt, 215/60/17s that were bought to go on my old dodge stealth, I no longer have the stealth and since I have the tires I was thinking of putting 17 inch rims on my 74 Dart Swinger. My question is what back spacing should I look to get which will allow me to run these tires without modifications to the fenders/quarters?

I have 17s on my 71 Swinger and have 9 inch back spacing. I would check the lug pattern it might be a little off. Some newer bolt patterns are 115mm when older rides have 4.5 in or 114.3 mm. The other problem I ran into was tire rub on the front fender. I had to use a 215/40 R17 to ensure tire clearance on the front outer edge of the fendr Hope this helps.
