One my all time favorite cars too. Matter of fact I would trade my 71 Road Runner for one.

i missed out on one a couple years back and i am still kicking myself for it.

i missed out on one a couple years back and i am still kicking myself for it.

My dad had a chance to buy an original Christine car (I think there are 2 left) back in the 80's at the Iola car show for $15,000, that same car was up for sale restored a few years ago for 1 million $ :banghead: I think its the same car in my first post but it didn't have the dark windows when he seen it, dad has an old pic of it, I will get it next time and scan it to my computer.

A good friend of mine that recently passed away has some body parts from Christine that are made of rubber. They were used in the scenes when the dents pop out on the body. He got them from a junk yard in California. You guys are posting some nice stuff!

...the part I could never understand (in the book) was Dennis being so amazed that Christine's speedometer went up to 120. Didn't he ever look at his own speedo???

How about those Fuelly Heads (for a Mopar?) for hop-up parts. Or Fuelly headers as they're referred to later in the text....

I love that book, but I don't think Stephen King was much of a hot rodder.

Or maybe if you put Chevy heads on a Mopar it becomes a psychotic killing machine.
