somemore pictures of the 64 its a clean one people wouldnt take much but some interior work and a front end alignment and a tuneup, and put the rest of the emblems, rocker molding and front assembly back on to be a decent driver. no use wasting money on something cheaper with belly and quarter problems! its registered its to clean to part out!

How much rust?just surface rust?any holes?

the fenders and tail lights tell me its a 65 not a 64, 64 has a wider gap between the body lines on the fenders and 65 is the only year for the round reverse lenses.

It's gotta be a 1964. The push button shift is on the left side of the steering wheel and the instrument cluster is 64. Might be a swap for the front fenders or that the factory just were out of 64 fenders!!

please dont post uneducated information it confuses would be buyers!
This is a 1964 barracuda only year they made pushbutton on the dash cudas is in 64 65s went to the floor shift! tail lights all 64 and 65 tail lights are the same! fenders are 64 fenders you can tell by the longer tail on letter A of the barracuda emblem on the fender
this car has a clean (1964) title! its registered every year.

now back to bigdemos question just surface rust theres a hole the size of a nail head on the drivers side just above the torque box and one the size of a penny on the passeger side above the torque box and thats pretty much the place ive seen rust on every 64,65,66 cudas ive had everything else is solid if anyone needs somemore pictures just ask!

heres the registration only thing different is the color i was going to paint it purple and when asked what color i chose that the trunk has a few holes in it and a patch were someone cut out for maybe a trailer hitch because i still see the trunk bolts for the hitch but its solid over the tank and solid around the holes be a easy patch fix

Im in Iowa you buy it you can drive it around as long as you like in august! (laughing) just make sure you bolt down the seats, and take it in for a front end alignment or you will be swaying to the music down the road! lol
Now on the more serious side its drivable but i wouldnt stick my neck out and say yeah its a fine piece of machinery you can drive it 1800 miles home i bought it did all the brakes replaced both rear drums with new ones, upper ball joints, dual exhaust, got it running really nice then i stripped the front end off it, took the rocker molding off, ripped out the carpet and interior that wasnt going to be needed and sat it to the side as i worked on my 65 cuda. In about days worth of work you would have it back together and running as a pretty nice daily driver.

How far away is Chicago from where you live? Were getting over for Mopar Nationals so the plan would be to drive it around Chiacgo Detroit area up to Niagara and back to Columbus!

Think it will make it? Then bring it back to Sweden! Does it have a clear title?

its 325 miles to chicago and to be honest i have no idea what it would do heck im not that confident in my 65 to drive it 325 miles and yes it has a clear and up to date title

V8-valiant's confussion is that he has a valiant and those differences are notable from the 64 to 65 valiant, but the 64 (actually 64 1/2) barracuda actually had the 65 valiant and barracuda fenders and taillights. The longer "a" tail on the 64 barracuda emblem is correct. I have owned about 20 of these and have compared them side by side (wished i had ben smart enough to take pictures, duh!)
