The transmission cooler lines were tricky to add while engine and tranny in place. But rear mounting for tranny is not found.
Anyone know is this is it?

The convertible top boot is added and adjusted. Hood adjusted and the mecanism is restored too.

Finally the convertible top motor is in place. However I need to find new rubber bumpers for it.
What did you FABO member used?
Next step was to assemble part of the top mecanism since I had to drill out one of the sprints that holds the mecanism to the body.
But finally the top is there. Yihaw!

I'm looking for the rear bracket for power top. Anyone know of brackets for sale?

Finally time for mounting te restored radiator. Fits like a glove. Did some research on the radiators. The 19 inch radiator for 225 and the V8 273 were used only 7 months (January to July 1964). Then for model year 1965 the 22 inch V8 radiator arrived on the sceen. Adde te alternator as well as the fan belt.
The new ACC carpet was a walk in the part to trim and mount the carpet hold downs.
New was to clean the rrar panels. Turned out just fine.

After the rear quarter panels it was time for the door panels.
I cut all the staples of the carpet section. Next removed the chrome moulding w/reflective tejp. With a knife I gently removed the vinyl material on the board.
This is how it looks when there hasn't been a plastic cover between the door and the door panel. The plastic cover leads moisture and rain water down into the door. Otherwise you get the moisture in the door panel.
A trip down to the supply store resulted in 1/10 inch masonite. Measuring the holes and making the turned out great. Added the vinyl on the masonite board. Tomorrow I will glue the vinyl.

To be continued

Anyone have the exact measurements for location of the fender mounted V-eight emblem on a 1964 Dart GT?

Got the plugs, wires and hoses connected. But on a push-button transmission, does anyone know the routing of the selector wire and the parking brake wire?

The ministarter in place and hooked up. Transmission cooler lines attached and installed in the bracket.

Next was to install the fender mounted V-eight emblem. After getting measurements from a friend in Arizona I was able to drill the holes and install it. Of cause painted red.

Finally the steering column was installed today. The coupler was an odd one. Just like the one for manual steering but with smaller axel diameter.

Finally the last DART door emblem is ready for the door after the final adjustment of the glass.
The final V-eight emblem showed up the other day but after some masking and a coat of paint, the emblem goes on the left front fender.
The drivers inside door panel was in bad shape. New panel produced and the vinyl from the old one saved and will be glued on. But that will be another day. Now it's time for a beer!

Today I picked up my new set of clips the the rocker moulding on this car. I pushed in the old one and mounted the new ones.
The moulding was in not good condition. After sanding down with 1500 grit papers I polished the mouldongs to a shiny status.
The mounting procedure was a walk in the park. Finished off the right one with the screw.
Starting the polishing on the left moulding I found a clips, new to me. Was it another model of clips on the front fender holding the moulding?? This clips is way bigger and has the shape of the moulding. The left clips is NOS, the middle clips is repopped and the right was probably mounted on the front fender.
