Hello Folks,

I am swapping out my Slant 6 for a 318 in my Dodge Dart. Booooo. I know. Sorry for those who think I shouldn't.

Anyhow, this will probably happen in February and I'm wondering if there is anything in particular people are looking to buy that may become available. I did do a rebuild on the carburetor. Still a bit of hesitation off throttle but I didn't adjust the accelerator pump play. Spent alot on the rebuild parts and new float to be on the safe side. Also, I have the upgraded electrical choke that I paid good money for. Starter etc. I don't know what you all may have a need for and I don't yet consider this a classified, hope the moderators feel the same. PM if something may trip your trigger. Will also have the 904 trans and driveshaft but of course those are too big to ship.

People will tell you that Slants have no real market value, and on the surface, that looks to be the case.
However, they do have a huge stealth market if you have patience.
Somebody somewhere needs every single scrap of that setup. I sell a ton of stock Slant stuff to guys who are just tinkering with a classic and only want the stock basic parts that came on them originally.
Slide it into a corner and just pick away at it. You'll eventually sell everything and probably be amazed at how much you net for the effort.

I'd be interested in the upgrade electric choke when you get around to selling.
