Good evening all! I'm excited to join this group. I've been a "car guy" as long as I can remember, and while I'm pretty mechanically inclined, I'm no master mechanic. I recently bought a 1964 Plymouth Valiant, with a 70s 318 SBM, 904 trans, and an 8 3/4 rear end. I haven't had a chance to get into anything yet, but was told the motor has 273 heads, and was bored .030 over. She seems healthy enough, although there's some normal project car stuff I need to chase down, such as being unhappy getting going from idle. I'm looking forward to benefiting from the wisdom of this forum, and hopefully I can help out somehow as well.

Welcome from Northeast Arkansas.
Thats a great looking sedan you have there, enjoy this great sight

Thanks everyone for the greetings! I'm glad I found this forum. I'm going to spend this weekend doing a quick tune-up on the car, get the carburetor happy, and then do a deep dive into what exactly I've got going on power train-wise!
