I looking for help on the procedures and paint to repaint the engine bay. I have the motor and transmission out, and have remove all wiring harness. I have also clean the bay with simple green twice and power washed it off. I will also be re-painting the engine while I have it out. I do not have a air compressor, so it looks like it will be bush or spray can application.

Thanks
Bear

Go to your local automotive paint shop. They have a good variety of spray can paints.Get some scotch brite pads, primer, and paint.
The prep work is key.

The more you remove from the engine compartment, the better it will look. Most paint supply shops can make up aerosol cans, so check into that. But really, it sounds like the sort of project that makes for a great excuse to buy a compressor.

Her,s the job I did on my 66 Dart with rattle can, after a quick cleanup.
