1965 Dart GT black out special?

When I was in state of Washington back in 1988 I met a nice couple with a good looking 1965 Dart called the black out special. Over the years we became very close friends and they were always refering to their Dart convertible.

What I know of was that the grille were blacked out as well as the arm rest basew. I will wee if I can find a picture or two.

Question is, has someone else heard about this model?

i suppose it could have been some kind of dealer promotional thing, like the GO GO 's or something or the western special darts. i dont think it was factory, i could be wrong ,new one by me.
