Does anyone have any suggestions on removing the I. Switch on a 65 Dart GT, hopefully the instrument cluster does not have to be removed.

They sell or you can make a tool that goes into the little cuts on the switch bezel. (even a snap ring tool or a couple of screwdrivers can work if you're careful) Unscrew the bezel on the front and the switch practically falls out the back.

Going to depend on if you can get to the back.

Unplug, unscrew bezel.

Photo from the 65 parts book

I didn't think about the parts book....thanks... I figured it out pretty quick after I got my eye down there on it and saw that the bevel had notches inside it. Turned out an easy job....but guess what....that wasn't the problem after all. Dog cars that sit forever gets all kind of electrical corrosion issues... plus I'm no spring chicken any more...lol. Thanks for the tip.....

Good luck with the diagnostics. Electrical gremlins are difficult
