I bought this 65 Dart from a fellow board member a few months back. It has recent brakes, runs great, and a rust free original paint body. The interior had a rubber mat, black seats and tan'ish door cards. The electronic ignition was installed by the PO also.

The plan is to make it a very reliable, good gas mileage car, until the BIG redo next year.

Electrical upgrades: HL relay upgrade for H6024NH headlights, 2-10ga jumpers from B+ to battery post, 4 new speakers and a sub box in the trunk (voltmeter to installed soon)

Engine bay: new heater hoses, new vacuum adv. line, new fuel line a "mod", carb rebuild (old one spit fuel out the top accel. pump, also had a stumble), 7 blade fixed fan for more airflow.

Interior: painted doortops back to OEM, new window felts, new windlace, nice used front seat, back seat out to be recovered. Have new headliner, will install soon. Installed a carpet instead of the rubber floor.

To do in fall: replace drivers floor, replace dash pad (have it), repaint dashtop, disk brake mod., 360/904/8.75 mod., front coilovers, full TTi exhaust, 15" rims.

Need to figure out: why the left turn dash blinker and all the dash lights do not light.

The connector at the printed circuit board should be checked for corrosion or being loose....both the dash lights & blinker indicator have connections at this same location.

I have a '66 dart and the left turn signal doesn't work either. Hmm, all I had to do was change all the bulbs to make my dash light work... Except that one. I don't know what's wrong with it.

Front bench. Where did you get those seat covers with the fabric incerts

I remember that car!I almost pulled the trigger and bought it.LOL.It was hard to pass on,being in the condition it,s in.If your planning on doing all the swaps(which I have on my 66 Dart already)I advise you look into Ron Francis wiring harness. These cars were bad for corroding at the block on the firewall, causing some stupid problems.Good luck.
