Pishta here are the stripes. Way back when before full out “restification”

post up a fender tag pic so we can see the PAINT code, curious what the red stripe code was.

So- from what I have under “paint” on the tag
Under “n” is the color of the stripe if it had one from the factory or the dealer marked it.
Mine shows a “P” but all the write ups show “N” for red. Does not make sense since red is PP1 (or 4) dependent on factory and how hung over assembly line worker was from night before. Lol!

For 1966-68, paint code "P" was bright red. Looks like your fender tag has the correct information for a red racing stripe option and bright red upper door frame color. My 66-68 books do not show a code "N" paint period.
I have a buffed silver 65 Formula S with the blue interior which I find very attractive, but I must admit Barrdacuda silver with red interior is my favorite.
Nice find and good luck with it.

Thank you. I bought the car in 1989 from a coworker and his wife- 1st owner. The exterior was bare metal covered in wd-40. Put 3k on it in mileage since then. 2 years ago the restoration.
