Ok, I guess I'll join in the fun!

Going to start working on my old highschool cruiser, again...
It's been an on and off again project since just after school was out.

'65 2dr valiant, 273 w/ carter AFB 4bbl on top, soon will be 4-speed that was originally in my 64 b'cuda.

This is an budget build, to the extreme. I'll be buying the lower rear qtr patch panels from laysons and simply doing that fix and leaving it in primer. No time to paint it yet. Going to have to go thru the complete wire harnees since it sat out in a farm feild for about 5 years and the mice i'm sure are the reason the headlights and other switches dont work anymore.

Only other thing that must be fixed is the windsheild leaks, so i'm gonna have to try to figure out how to fix that. anyway, heres some pics of it as she sits in the garage right this moment.

Hope to have it back on the road before it gets too cold out again.

Welcome to FABO...clean it up and start having fun driving it again:cheers:

Thanks everyone, i've only been around the site for a few weeks. but in those few weeks i've learned, and remembered, ALOT from the REAL muscle car group.

I had a 64 'cuda, was my very first car. BUT my stinkin city started hasseling me about it sitting in my backyard, so sadly I had to give it away.

pettybludart- i not only have an engine and tranny, BUT i have digital ignition, going back to points set up however, and a front disc set up from a '73 dart i think.

The motor actually runs, needs a new trans and me to finnish re-installing the master cyl.

All in all, to get the car actually driving again shouldnt take more than a few hundred bucks. 500 at most.

Working on getting an 8 3/4 742 any gear, but thats a preferd upgrade, the stocker still runs just fine.
You'll all be seeing pics as I progress for sure! Work is coming up on a labor contract negotiation, so I may be having some time off coming.
