On the downhill slide. Ready to patch the inner trim panels and start fitting the roof skin. Wind, wind and more wind tomorrow though.

Your attention to detail and fabrication skills are impressive. I don't know if I'd have the ambition to dig in that far.

I had no desire to. I wanted the title to be hard so I would just part this one out. It was easy….. and it deserved to live.

Six hours of stripping aftermarket spray foam and flapper wheeling rust and paint. Yeah….

Well that sucks. The snowball is accelerating. It was hit in this side and sort of fixed by the same shop in Phoenix that probably put the quarters on the Valiant in the 80s.

Rusty metal removed and now I have to pull this front side to fix the inner fender. Sigh.

What a memory to look back at when you are done it took me 4 years after work and some weekends to restore a 1968 Dodge WM300 Power Wagon

Hey no hole this way it's safe walking in it there and working.

I knew a feller whos dad drag raced one of them in the 90s, thing had a 360 in it if I recollect...

This was my buddy's '65 A100. It had a 360, auto trans, 8 3/4" sure-grip 3.23:1

He sold it in 2016 to purchase his '63 Dodge 440 (383, auto (push button)).

One side mostly done. Need to fix the exterior panels before doing much else. Drivers side bad metal is cut out ready for new patches.

No question I am going to have to fabricate these lower sections or all this work is for naught.

Few more panels fabricated and started to be welded in. Tape makes a great and accurate template. Need to install the battery box captured nuts positioned and welded in correctly first.

Time to stop when the welder runs out of gas... push it and pay with blow throughs and poor welds... just walk away and fix it another day.... Close though...

Weekend in LA at the MOPAR Spring Fling show. 18 or so Superbirds/Daytona/Charger 500s were there. Missed meeting Jay Leno (comes every year) but did hang with Justin from Graveyard Carz and his dad (Charger, Superbird) a bit one evening. Fun time, a do again.
