Selling my 1966 Barracuda that I've had for almost 27 years. Originally a Commando 273 4 speed with Kelsey Hayes disks, HD suspension, 150 speedo, tach. It was basically a Formula S without the badges and it had a vinyl top.

Now it has a .030 over 340, line honed, square decked, forged crank, forged pistons, balanced, Mopar Performance 280 duration .474 lift cam. Ported J heads with 2.02 intakes, LD 340 and a Holley 650 Double Pumper. Exhaust is 2 1/4" pipes with Flowmasters.

10 1/2" Centerforce dual-friction clutch, McLeod steel flywheel, Aluminum bell housing.

Front suspension and brakes are all new. Reinforced K member, reinforced lower control arms, Firm Feel upper control arms, Firm Feel 1" torsion bars, 1 1/8" sway bar, KYB shocks. Front brakes are 11.75" Cordoba rotors with Viper calipers, Hawk HPS pads. Entire front suspension including K member is powder coated black. Steering box is 16:1 manual.

Rear end is 8 3/4" 3.55 sure grip 742 case. Axles are narrowed C - body axles done by Moser with new studs and axle bearings. Factory leaf springs, Addco 3/4" rear sway bar. Brakes are Diplomat 10 x 2.5" drums. All new brake parts except for the drums.

Mopar Performance driveshaft with 7290 (large) U-joints.

15 x 7 cop car wheels powder coated semi-gloss black with Yokohama AVS ES100 215/60R15 tires on all 4 corners.

Paint is black Imron that is over 30 years old. Recently detailed, looks fantastic from 20 feet, very presentable up close. Has some flaws/scratches here and there.

Interior is black. Front seats need to be redone. Rear seat is excellent. Needs front carpet for sure, rear carpet is fair. Door panels are OK, have another decent set that would go with the car. Dash chrome needs to be rechromed. Have some extra dash plastic pieces. Window mechanisms need some work. Have another complete set of rear mechanisms plus rear quarter glass that I will throw in with the car.

Custom one-off rev limiter and shift light by Dynatek Ignition.

I have the original block and it would go with the car.

This is a very cool car and I would like to see it go to a good home.

More photos available upon request. Lots of receipts & info from Chrysler Historical.

Asking $11,000. No trades. Buyer responsible for arranging and cost of pickup/transport of vehicle.

Located in San Jose, CA.
