1966 Barracuda grille repairs?

I have pretty much given up finding a good driver side grille to replace the broken one on my 66 Barracuda. Does anyone know a vendor specializing in the repair and rechroming of cast type materials?

Cudachick is pretty good at repairing metal and also powder coating it. I saw a post the other day where she has some coatings that look close to chrome. It looked real nice...

Iverson automotive (http://www.iversonautomotive.com/) has done some good work for me. I've also am doing it myself (photos soon) and can tell you, it's a lot of work!

Thanks for the mention Karl!! As timing would have it, I just about have this long term grille finished -- the plastic inserts needed a spray bomb job and the paint is still setting up. I can post up a couple After Pics later in the week.

In the meantime I'll completely agree with the earlier post that this undertaking is a TON of work; straightening the dings, powder coating each piece in three or four colors to mimic the factory finish, and buffing what usable chrome is left is a serious effort.

The 66 was cast pot metal and not plastic so it may be harder to repair.

I personally don't know of any repair for cast pot metal!! It's a hideous medium, one that does not play well!!!
