I need a Carter 4295S. It is for an automatic car. The stick car had a 4296 stamping. The difference is in the linkage. If it is a 4295S I would consider the package deal depending on price. I have a 4296 but it will not work as it should without some serious tinkering.
Thanx Mike K

Had not heard from you about the package (carb intake and air cleaner) Is it still available. Thanx Mike K

Mike...I didnt think the linkage between a 4295 and a 4296 would be that much different (throttle pin shorter on 4296). Can you snap me a pic of your 4296 linkage so I might compare it to my 4295?

Thanks, dude.

I apologize for my incorrect number. It is a 4294 and I will try and take a picture of the part you requested tonight. Found a carb dealer in Calif that had a 4295S. Said it has been on the shelf since 1973. Said I could have it for $490.00 and a $100.00 core charge. I think he was doing heavy chemicals. But if I did want it, I would request that he deliver it in a "Brinks Truck" for that price.
Thanx for the thread will send it soon
MIke K
