1967 Barracuda Conv Black Boot Needed!

I looked for one for quite a while and the ones I ran on to were just one step from going to pot. I finally bit the bullet and got a new one from Ledgenary Interiors.
I have a black OEM boot here. It's been indoors for at least 10 years. It's not torn today but who know what it would do if stretched tight in the winter.
If I did plan to use it I would first wash it good with GoJo cream hand cleanerand a good brush, then rinse and rinse with hot water. Then lay it in the sun and once it got hot and dry. I would then saturate it with mineral oil inside and out. I would cover my conv' top so the oil didn't get on it brfore installing the boot. I would feed the oil to the vinyl until it wouldn't drink any more.
