And now for the color coat.... close to F8 green but has a yellow flop to it.... I really like the color. Still a bit hazy in there! After the past 10+ years of painting cars I wonder how this stuff hasn't got to me yet.. or has it? =P~

wow that looks pretty sweet ... the green really popped.

and you also have me motivated to get my butt back out to the garage to get back to work on my 67 lol

Fantastic work! I like the green you chose.
I know 67 didn't use a Bee stripe, but are you going to put one on it? It would look sweet with a white 68 style stripe.
Keep up the great work.

I did think about a stripe at one point in time but I am leaning on no right now. Although I do think they look great, maybe down the road I would ad one... on the fence.

Had a busy weekend but I did get a little work done on the car. When I first took the carpet out I noticed it was pretty wet on the passenger side, and the floor pan was starting to rust... we all know what the problem was. Old cruddy heater core. So I took it apart and started to fix up the heater box. Had to order a new core as nobody had them in stock.

Scraped off the old foam and put some new on. Used some spray adhesive and good as new. Now just waiting for the new heater core to come in. Have to finish trimming the edges and will be done on the flaps.

The new heater core came today. After washing all of the anti-freeze out of the box I installed the new heater core.

After finding some matching foam and gluing it to the vent flaps I installed them in the box. Then I added some strip caulk to the seam in the box to help seal it up.

Next I squeezed the two halves together and installed all of the clips, then the cardboard cover and clips. Then I took some door foam and made a new seal for the top of the box. All done.

Here is some of my latest progress. Tore down the 440 for the machine shop. Should get sent out here in the next couple of weeks.

Looks great so far! I'm inspired, can't wait to get to work on mine.

Thanks! I am excited to get this motor built up. Nothing serious just going for a good street motor.

Wow, it's been about 4-5 months since I updated this thread. Finally the long cold Wisconsin winter is over. Here are some progress pictures of the Dart.

I scored a A-body 8 3/4 this winter and went through it. Blasted the housing, new seals, and new big bolt pattern Dr. Diff axles. I also installed some 10 inch brakes I had. New brake lines and paint.
