yea its original motor and trans, and i think 318 LA??

dont quote me on that, but im about 75% sure that 1967 was the first year for the LA in them or something .. i read online when i got the car about it

but its a really clean car, asking 3500$ for it
heat works and cd player works, makes some wind noise at high speeds, but i drive it all the time and would drive it to florida and back and know i wouldnt have a problem

Yea sorry lol was thinking of my brothers his was a66 440 2 door mine had the la don't post when drinking ROFL

Wasn, t 68 the first year for th LA318 , probabaly a 273 car , i see alot of these cars at shows either poly for 66, and 273 for 67 , or the slant. My brother had a 67 and it was 273 , and i had taken the power train out of a 67 wagon years ago for the 273 engine and trans.

From allpar about 1967 cars "On the other end of the V8 engine scale was a new 318. It looked little different from the 273 V8 introduced for the mid- 1964 Valiant and it did, in fact share the same heads and other external components. Internally the new LA-block 318 carried the same crankshaft, rods and pistons as the old A-block introduced in 277 and 303 cubic inch forms in 1956. Externally, it used the same water pump. (The 273 itself remained unchanged.) The 318 also had wedge-shaped, rather than polyspherical, heads, and used hydraulic tappets to be quieter and require less adjustment. Horsepower was the same as the old 318.

They didn't use the 318 in A bodies until 1968 but it was used in other bodies in 1967. It had almost as much hp as the 273 4 bbl but much more torque probably why a better choice in the larger bodies.
