For the first time in many years, I took my street car to Milan Dragway. I have owned this car since 1978 and drive it on the street often. This car has not been cut on what so ever! When it was a 383 CID [original engine] the car dipped into the 13 second zone. Next came a police interceptor 440 and a 6 pak induction system. Low 12's. Next a real effort 440. This is what currently powers my Barracuda. I am pleased to say that 10.56 @ 124 is the net result. [consistent 10.60's @ 124] [through a complete 3" exhaust and on ET street tires] This car uses a 4.10 Dana, 727 automatic, Turbo Action converter/valve body, Indy Cylinder heads/intake and a 1050 carburetor. Now it is a far cry from the original 383, but still utilizing the "Muscle" of its bigger brother! The ET slip is from 5.22.16. Note the ET was not good, nor the was the MPH...I was trying to win....not break out!

Nice fast car, fastback Barracudas are my favorite. It's fun to drive to the strip, make some passes and drive home. Last month the wife and I drove the Dart to our local strip for street car shoot out night. I made a few passes, the best was 6.504 @ 106.67. When I finished we loaded our lawn chairs and cooler in the trunk and drove it home.

Sounds and looks like you're having a good time with it. Good job!
