Hello everbody

Since more than a year I am looking for a original 1968 factory 340 Intake Manifold. On eBay I found for every year 1969-1973 except 1968:sad3:

Does anybody have one?

Thank you so much

Roby

Hello again.

I am still looking for an original 1968 340 intake manifold. I don't care if I pay 500 Dollars. I just want one. Dated Code: June 19th, 1967 - June 14th, 1968

Thanx for any help
:thumblef:

Hello,

My 1968 Dart Hardtop is a numbers matching GT 273. But 2 year ago the Dart was cloned to a 340-S GTS. (of course I am keeping all the original parts from the GT 273 incl. Broadcast Sheet). Original 1968 GTS Power Bulged Hood, 727 TorqueFlite, 8 3/4 Rear Axle with Sure Grip, etc. etc. But the engine is from an early 1970 Dodge Challenger 340 (Engine dated code July 9th, 1969). What I have so far is an original restored 340 Air Cleaner, an original AVS Carter Carburetor Code 4425S and the X Head Code 2531894.

In this case it doesn't matter which production day the intake manifold (Code 2531915-2) has. Important is the period from the 1968 model. June 1967 until June 1968.

Thank you

Roby

A '68 Dart GT with a 273? All the ones I've had were 318 cars. I thought just the 170 and 270 came with the 273....interesting. Is it a Canadian version? I've also never seen a 727 behind a 273 from the factory either. What are the fender tag codes for that car?

Could be some "built for export" car. His profile says Switzerland.

This might be the one the numbers are hard to read but sure likes it says 88 as the last two digits and they forgot to make 340's in 1988

I've got this one. Not so good at the julian dates or whatever that is though. I'm sure shipping to Switzerland would be a couple of dollars.

Hi guys

ALL OF YOU ARE SO KIND:cheers:

First about my 68 Dart. It's an original GT 273 with a 904 TorqueFlite Sure Grip and 2:93. It's an Export Dart GT and was built at Hamtrack on September 21st, 1967. Delivered on December 15th, 1967 to Geneva, Switzerland. I got luck still to have the FenderTag and Broadcast Sheet.
But since almost two years it's a Clone GTS. And as I'm a member of the Mr. Norm Club and I had the chance 4 years ago to met him at the Chrysler Mopar Meeting in Columbus Ohio. I took away the "T" and replaced it by the "S". The Dart looks like a real GSS, but it's not.

@ Cudamark
I don't have an address in the U.S., but your is perfect!

@ Waggin
Sorry but yours is for the 1969 model. But thanx anyway.

@ LXguy
Yours is also perfect.

Well, I would pay through Paypal. Who has Paypal and how much is the shipping to Switzerland.

Thanx to everybody who is helping me:newb:

Roby, where are you in Switzerland? I ship to Switzerland every other month for a bunch of Mopar guys there in Derendingen.
