1968 340 Plug Wire Bracket

A friend of mine was asking about this bracket said to be for 68 340 engines, I can find no reference to it in the parts book or the assembly manual.

I have seen one similar bracket on a dodge small block C-class motor home years ago. I never saw it on a 68 340 but that would make a great Item to make for use with after market valve covers. Thanks for the reminder and pictures.
 
131 views and no one has seen this on a 68 340?
Makes me wonder if it was actually used from the factory.

Maybe yes. This is a closeup of the photo on page 56 of Car Life, Dec. 1967. "1968 Barracuda 340-S Road Test"

If memory serves me correctly it was a 340 automatic piece to keep the plug wires off the kick down linkage. 340 4 speed didn't have it.
