Got this package listed on ebay, but willing to part it. Looking to get $4k for the entire pkg. Am I crazy?

Taking offers on all or part.

Almost complete, and ready to assemble casting numbers matching 1968-72 Dodge 340 Engine. Almost complete means you just need some minor items to put this one together.

I will also throw in a 727 transmission at no additional cost. It looks OK, but will likely need rebuilt. I've never ran it.

I picked up a two door with this engine and performance parts. I decided to go with stock, so I picked up a four door that I'm gonna use for a donor.

Pickup in Covington, LA. I can help with delivery/meeting you if your close. Something like 50 miles.

Mopar 340 block: Date stamp 2-9-1972 Casting number 2780930-340-7. Bored .030, cleaned, painted, and cam bearings installed.

I ran the numbers in my head real quick and I'd be hard pressed to pay HALF of what you were asking. You might get somebody to pay $4k, but it wouldn't be me.

BTW, first post, welcome to FABO!!

VIN on the block? Pass side just above pan rail on a flat machined area. There is a drain plug just above the pad.

FYI, 894 X heads didn't come on 1972-73 engines.

If it's got the date of 72 on the block then it's a 1972 340, not 68, 69, 70 or 71.....

Seeing you asked. Yes your crazy for asking 4K. 1K is more like it. Sorry.

Welcome to the site !
