This is a real 340 4 spd formula S car. I recently purchased it from a owner that has owned it the last 34 years. 1 of 60 made in this engine/tranny combination. very rare car. I have most recently added a new rear bumper from tri-city not shown in pix. I have also put the new tires and powdercoated the 14x5" steel wheels. complete rebuild on the Kelsey Hayes brakes with new rotors,bearings,pads,and detailing, also new shocks all 4 corners and sway bar bushings. The Formula S pkg came with heavy duty brakes and sway bar. I have the broadcast sheet and fendertag and a clear PA title. Motor was rebuilt less than 2000 miles ago as well as the clutch and pressure plate. It has a zoom clutch in it with a firm pedal. 3:23 rear gear. It is a very dependable driver. I have also replaced and upgraded a few items under the hood. I will take some more recent photos under the hood and post this weekend. It has all original sheet metal, the lower quarters have had some work done to them and the paint was a few years ago. Floor, trunk floor, frame rails are good. I have enjoyed cruising in it this Summer, but I am still looking to buy the 70 B-body I have been looking for. I am listing this for $21,500 on here for a few weeks and then will move the sale to E-bay. I am located in S.E PA

More pix of under the hood. It is a power top and rear glass window. Looks to be a fairly new Mallory dual point distributer. Original paint on the fenderwells.

One of the rarest production A-bodies you will find other than the Hemi A-bodies (50). It is a good investment for a collector to restore.

I've been looking for an A or B body convertible all summer.I only have $15,000 to spend though. I have found nothing decent in my price range or if they are decent they sell really quick before i have a chance to get there. Your car is really nice so It should bring the money. good luck.
 
I pulled the dual point distibuter out and put a petronix igniter II electronic distributor in and some petronix wires as well. It really "woke up the sleeping giant" engine. Going for a 6 hour road trip this week with it. Fun Fun for every and anyone that has the $$$ to buy it. Still considering good trades as well on B-bodies.

Found the original Certi-card with the original purchasers name the other day in the owners manual. This car was delivered on 10/1967. Very possible the first production of the 60 made. Going to Fall Carlisle this Friday with the car if weather is nice. I live 20 miles from Carlisle if anyone is going and would like to see car to purchase PM me and I can make it availible.

I just put on new original stainless exhaust tips. restored rear brakes with flared drums, new seals, shoes, wheel cylinders, brake hardware, and a new master cylinder.
 
70 Super bee or Roadrunner. Will look at 68 coronets and chargers as well..possibly a 69 coronet if it is nice.
 
I am sorry on the E-bodies. I can't afford the prices to fix them up. If it was completely done, and a 71 Challenger/Cuda I would, but everyone knows that will not happen.
 
Well I have dumped a $1,000. in it since I posted this add and I will drop it down to $20,500. Losing money as always on these cars. If this does not sell by end of March. The ad will be removed and I will be keeping it...Also a good time to say Merry Christmas to all my friends on FABO...
