This is not mine. A guy on craigslist has this car in south bend Indiana area. The car is a shell. It has the top harness but that's about it. No suspension, rear end, drive train, interior etc. etc.. I don't really need it but I don't want to see it get scrapped either. He said he would take $750 for it. Somebody buy it so I don't have to. http://toledo.craigslist.org/cto/4198615918.html

You are just buying the documentation for a 340, Formula S convertible.

But, unlike most of these vin sellers, you do actually get what's left of the car.

You would have to destroy another nice car to put this one back on the road. Looks like the vultures had their way with it already .

I guess this is why I have a want to save such cars. None of you seem to value how rare it is. All of the sheetmetal work it needs would need to be done on most cars anyway. The rest is just a matter of collecting parts up again. In this day and age any car can be saved. I don't know who the dumb ass was that parted a car like this in the first place. As Butch Cassidy once said "boy I got vision and the rest of the world is wearin bifocals". I know it's a lot of work, but so is any car. I have a 67 273 hipo car that someone completely stripped yet I have most of the parts for it already. I guess you have to put a car back together to a point were somebody can see its potential.

I am sorry but to build that car would cost more than it is worth. Quality parts for these cars are very hard to find and very expensive when you do. It might be good for a donor for a convertible conversion if what parts that are still there aren't beyond use.

is he paying me to haul that away? Seriously, maybe one of the TV shows will swoop in -- but to the average car guy that thing is more yard art than car now.

if you have deep pocket's and the means to do it, then save it, I've seen worst saved, a 69 charger parts car come's to mind, but as stated you will never recover the cost, and this is from someone who has stuck more money in old mopars then I could ever recover, but I'm not in it for the cash, I've been in mopars my whole life.

why is everyone so worried about what it would sell for when finished ....if you cant build a car for the car then your in the wrong hobby.

I don't like convertibles but if that was a type of car I like I would buy and build it....just because.....if your like me and can do your own work then why not, you will never be closer and bonded to car more than if you if bring it back from the dead. Anybody can get in a car and drive it around, don't take very much skill to do that.....but few can defy the car reaper.

luckily in my area cars don't rust but I have a wrecked demon and im going to save it ....might take awhile because im not rich but im going to do it no matter what people tell me and when im finished im going to keep it as long as I possibly can.

only you can decide if you want to save that poor cuda .....only you can decide how bad you want it.......if you don't want to dedicate time and effort to it then let it die ......otherwise that would be a cool, at least it already has papers and the rest of the parts are around ...I bet you can put that car together with all parts from FABO.

Well they aren't making more of them, everybody and their asshole has a 6 cyl or 318 car. That's the ones I part out to save the rare ones. You can get the undercarriage parts from a valiant too. I already have a bunch of parts for it anyway. I'll worry about it and get it back to were someone can put it back together. It's what I enjoy!
