1968 Barracuda Fastback Interior Decor Group

I decoded the fender tag on my car and it came with the Interior Decor Group. The description for the Interior Decor Group says that the rear wheelhousings on fastback were carpeted, mine are. On cars withouth the Interior Decor Group how were the rear wheelhousings finished off, just painted?
