1968 Barracuda Formula s 383 4 spd

It's only worth what you can get for it... These cars do not do well on the internet. I have been watching them daily for years. It looks like a kick *** example and especially cool to be a S Notch with a 4 gear and exceptionally rarer big block car. Do I think it's worth 50 K? Not by a long shot. Would I love to own it. Your darn tootin. I'm betting it would bring in the very high 30's to mid 40's tops. Of course, there are eccentric Mopar guys with deep pockets that would pay the 50k because it's like spending $5000.00 for us.

I think you are spot on!
I like these cars and this looks pretty good, but they just do not pull the $. Color is not going to do it any favors.
There is a very nice 69 340 4 speed thats been on COL forever. I love that car, but there is a reason its been sitting so long....Price.
If you really want it I would offer him maybe 40 and tell him you are looking at other cars too. He makes all his money on the buy, so if he bought it cheap he may take it and keep rolling.
Good Luck and keep us posted!

Matt
Pardon Our Interruption...

I am always suspect of white cars as they hide bodywork well. Not to say the one in the ad is not ok. Price is everything. This formula S has been for sale for a long time. Granted it is more than 50K but it looks like a pretty nice example of a big block S car. If it was a B body Charger it would have sold already.

It's listed on there fb page.. here's contact info

The only other white one just like this one but it had bucket seats sold for almost 60k. Is it original paint? I think its a good deal. Anything less would be nice but 68 340 and 383 4 speeds that are in this shape are very hard to find.
