I want to install a 440 into my 68 barracuda that has a 318 in it now. Do i have to replace the k frame to do that. I thought a v-8 k frame was all i needed. Thanks in advance.

It depends on how you want to install it. There was a big block specific k member for 67-69 and left side engine mount bracket. The left side front of the block was drilled to accept the mount bracket. Easiest way to go about it is use a spool mount V8k member and modify the passenger side mounting ears and use spool mounts. @Jim Lusk has the measurements for the mod on the k member.

There was a time when people would just fabricate what they needed, but those days seem to be long gone. You can get a late V8 k-member and build a Direct Connection k-member, buy conversion mounts (if you can find them), or make your own.
