1968 Dart GT Knob??

Knob is the closest to the glove box. Not sure if it is a dummy knob or if I am the dummy.
No markings. I believe to the left of the knob is the lighter.
Anyone know what it is for?

Is it a turn switch or a pull switch. Off On or Fader.

Cigarette lighter should be in the ash tray? One could be a radio fader. Is this your car or did you just take a picture of someone else's car? Get under there and look. Rear window defogger.

In 1968 cigarette lighter was not in the consul. It was in the dash the radio as far as I can tell did not have a fader with the AC under the dash you really cannot see very well when you’re looking up I don’t even know if I can get a hand to feel what’s going on Feels like maybe just a little bit and it will spin but that doesn’t seem to be doing anything. It is not a light switch is that the car has the light package and there is a separate switch for that. I believe I have a old owners manual somewhere. Maybe that’ll show me more.

They are eliminated so it will be hard to test!

There are only 2 7/16" nuts holding the a/c discharge grille to the bottom of the dash, remove them and pull it down so you can look.
